Comedian Kuah Jenhan appeared in 2006 at "Free Flow", an open mic session at The Actors Studio, Bangsar before winning Bond Bar's Stand-Up Comedy Competition months later. Hailed within the industry as a great young Malaysian comedian stirring things up, Jenhan has all the ingredients to be the tastiest commodity on the scene. Working hard at Timeout KL Comedy Thursday shows, witty gritty Jenhan was then offered to perform with The Comedy Club KL to rave reviews. Later, he teamed up with Phoon Chi Ho and Douglas Lim to form The Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians also fondly known as MACC. To date, MACC has had 4 runs. 2009 ended with Jenhan being invited to perform at The Comic's Lounge, Australia's biggest comedy club and inherently the venue's first Malaysian act. Headhunted by suit-donning corporate overlords, 2010 saw Jenhan performing for events like The Malaysia Effies Awards, A+M Magazine's Agency of The Year, The 7th Johor Bahru Arts Festival, Guinness St Patrick's Festival 2010 (Malaysia), and the PJ Laugh Fest. Jenhan also joined Actorlympics, Malaysia's forefront improv-comedy team. True to his devotion to comedy, Jenhan is one of the main arteries of YCOM (Young Comedians of Malaysia), promoting stand-up comedy as viable entertainment in Malaysia. Jenhan is also credited with having co-written 'Lat Kampung Boy – Sebuah Muzikal'. Kuah Jenhan will be performing at the upcoming KK Food Fest Finale Charity Dinner on Friday 22nd July.
