7th AsiaSpa Awards
9 November 2011
The Mira Hotel, Hong Kong

It was a night of Italian glamour as the seventh annual AsiaSpa Awards celebrated 25 of the industry’s top spas, personalities, destinations and products. Honoured for advancing the spa industry in quality, innovation and leadership, the evening was themed La Dolce Vita (Italian for "the sweet life"), with attendees dressed to the nines in their finest.

Over 300 leading professionals gathered at Hong Kong’s coolest design hotel, The Mira, as the coveted title of Destination Spa of the Year went to Fivelements, Puri Ahimsa, Bali. Le Spa du Metropole by Clarins, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi took home top honours as the year’s Best Urban Spa while Hong Kong’s Sense of Touch, Repulse Bay, took home the trophy for Day Spa of the Year. Bali took home Spa Capital of the Year, while Spa Product of the Year was awarded to Aromatherapy Associates.

“2011 has been a fantastic year for the spa industry, particularly here in Asia, and this year's awards are our most competitive yet,” said Rebecca Walker, Editor-in-Chief of AsiaSpa Magazine. "Asia's wellness industry is thriving and we're thrilled to give recognition to the best of the best."

Stunning trophies were provided by Baccarat with additional sponsorship by Kinji, SPARITUAL, Algotherm, Anoint, Aromatherapy Associates, Clarins, Pevonia Botanica, Terraké, Thalgo and VitaMan. Special thanks are extended to The Mira Hotel for hosting the Awards
