The Venice Simplon Orient-Express (VSOE), the world’s most celebrated train journey, carries passengers across Europe in the style of a bygone era. The vintage carriages, fine cuisine and personal service make a journey on the VSOE the perfect place for a celebration or special holiday.

Guests travel in authentic vintage carriages, evoking the glamorous era of European rail travel in the 1920’s and 30s.  The atmosphere onboard is one of pure refinement where guests can socialise in the bar car listening to the gentle sound of the ivories on the baby grand piano, enjoy the gourmet dishes prepared onboard or simply relax in their private cabins while enjoying the passing scenery from their own supremely privileged “window on the world”.

LUXURIOUS DINING
The VSOE has 3 beautiful restaurant cars. All meals are freshly prepared onboard by French chefs, with the finest supplies taken onboard during the train's journey. Lunch consists of three courses and dinner consists of four courses.

Breakfast and afternoon tea are served in passengers' cabins.

COSY CABINS
Travelling in private cabins, passengers are attended by cabin stewards throughout the journey.  Each cabin is beautifully decorated in mahogany panels inlaid with individual marquetry patterns – Art Deco floral and leaf patterns, flower garland, flower basket, trapeze, and tiger lily.

Each cabin has its own original washbasin cabinet with hot and cold water, and at night-time becomes a comfortable bedroom, complete with soft towels and crisp linen.  Passengers may select from two types of compartment: Double and Single. While guests dine at night the cabin steward will transform the cabin from daytime seating to a comfortable bedroom.

BREATHTAKING SCENERY
