Epicure, the revolutionary dining specialist, has announced the appointment of young Melbournian Chris Donnellan as Executive Chef for its award-winning restaurant Graze at Rochester Park and the latest dining concepts Graze, Kha and Provisions at the uber chic luxury residential development Martin No. 38. Hailed as one of today’s brightest and most promising culinary talents in Australia, 28-year old Chris Donnellan brings his culinary flair to the Epicure group of restaurants, creating and delivering delicious, fresh, uniquely-flavoured dishes that promise to whet appetites. Known for his unrelenting creativity, passion, and dedication, Chris will oversee the different dining experiences under Epicure’s belt, integrating them with his unique presentations and culinary excellence. Chris seeks inspiration by constantly challenging his taste buds, eating out and trying different cuisines, and from his travelling, reading and interaction with other chefs. While he loves to push boundaries, Chris is also mindful about keeping it real and never fails to go back to the roots of the traditions of the cuisine and deliver a modern interpretation of it through innovation and style. His creations are as such, keeping in line with the restaurant concept and design while conscientiously experimenting with the flavour and texture combinations. The young chef believes that every ingredient should have its place in a dish, and ensures he sources the best and freshest produce for each and every dish. |

“Chris is one of the most highly-acclaimed young chefs in Australia and truly respected for his innovative approach and culinary passion. With his outstanding management of Gingerboy restaurant in Melbourne, which has maintained its “one chef’s hat” for five consecutive years, we are confident that he will inject new energy and inspiration into our restaurants, bringing a new dimension to the dining experience in Singapore.” says Yenn Wong, Founder and Director of Epicure Pte Ltd. Chris shares on his appointment in Singapore, “I have always had a passion for Asia with its rich and diverse cultures and I am thrilled at this opportunity of working in a city like Singapore where, together with Epicure’s great kitchen teams, I can discover new tastes and textures which will hopefully set new benchmarks for us.” Sister to the original Graze at Rochester Park, the new Graze is a chic, casual dining restaurant offering the best of Australian cuisine with strong emphasis on fresh, quality produce enhanced with uniquely balanced flavours.
