Enchanted Nature. The team of designers at the German luxury label of Etienne Aigner have opened up new vistas on the uniqueness of our environment - using it's contrasts as inspiration for its 2011 Spring/Summer Collections.

Nature meets technology, matt confronts gloss and tradition unites with innovation. This has enabled Aigner to present an attractive range of quintessential leather designs that combines skilled craftsmanship with new, creative metals and various kinds of leather.

Without neglecting their heritage they have opted for courage and daring when it comes to the choice of materials. A glimpse of some crusty, old earth, a crescent and the wing of a dragonfly are reflected in elephant-skin look, metallic details and innovative cutting. Aigner has managed to develop new models with the aid of exclusive materials like soft crocodile, lizard and python skins that enhance the wearer’s look rather than dictate the use of the product.

The spectrum of colours is extremely versatile – the focus is on various shades of brown ranging from nougat to hazelnut. The choice of colour is also dominated by contrasts – sparkling sapphire and bright steel-blue are juxtaposed with soft rosé and vibrant bougainvillaea and can all be perfectly matched with each other. The whole repertoire is rounded off nicely with a hint of delicate ivory.

Aigner has designated its “Enchanted” line with its colour schemes of rosé and ocean as its “High Luxury Models”. The lustrous python leather and the rosé and golden metallic details serve as the ideal companion for the business woman. The practical clasps make for easy handling and cast their spell not only on the wearer, but beyond.

Sophisticated – the “Mono” line is striking above all for its soft Napa leather in elephant-skin look. The range is available in different colours and products, even as a weekender.

Highlight – the golden, detachable bag-tag in the form of filigree leaves that look deceptively like the real thing endow the models with a certain individual touch.

Skilled craftsmanship for that unique style – this is the motto of the “Camaieu” line. Its surfaces are not only sewn, but also lasered, and this gives the models a particular flair. By using this elaborate technique Aigner has demonstrated its feeling for innovation and has created a unique flow of colours, ranging from nougat to ivory. The “Carré Soft” line has a hip batik look on Napa leather. The core colours have been all mixed up and can be worn not only with jeans, but also with any business outfit.
