Calvin Klein Spring 2010 for Men

E-mail Print

Soft and light

Fabrics are pure and re-engineered with subtle modern finishes. Powder coated cottons and ramies, blends of silk with cotton or paper create unexpected volume. Lightweight, parachute, or memory nylons in solid chine create architectural and draped pieces. Surfaces are quilted, hammered, fluid, and compact. Knits are tissue weight or double-faced, created by bonding or plaiting, for texture. Sweaters are ultra fine gauge cotton with silky finishes. Shirts in ultra subtle stripes, finely textured crepe twills, or chambrays.

Sporty yet sensual

Bold and geometric. Silhouettes are precise, and juxtaposed with soft, structured volume, and linear sleekness. A base palette of airy, neutral hues in chalky whites, pale grays, powdered blues, and white washed sand with fearlessly sharp, saturated colors like geranium, lacquered hot red, sultan blue, solmar orange, and citrus green.

Key Looks

Two button suit in cotton/nylon in head to toe geranium. The new short suit, strictly tailored with a new volume: jacket and roll top shorts in solmar orange, layered over a pink geranium t shirt. Sultan blue lightweight parachute nylon parka worn with a pale grey silk/cotton roll top short. A voluminous chalk cotton/silk parachute nylon roll top short paired with a sleek two button memory nylon blazer.

Accessories

The new deconstructed slipper in soft, tumbled leather, as a shoe or sandal. Bags are soft and faceted, updated versions of the classic duffle, shopper, and gym bag. All available in nude or white.
