From the show that created a sensation in the entertainment scene in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, the “Kings and Queen of Comedy Asia” (K&Q) is back on 18 and 19 November 2011, bringing the best Asian comedic talents from around the world.
The inaugural show in October 2010 was the first of its kind and a runaway success, with sold out shows in the Plenary Hall, KLCC and Singapore Conference Hall. The show was a full production with launch and closing gambit, multimedia integration, high-definition live feed, and a light and sound extravaganza.
The event was a major success with highly positive feedback from both the public and media. The comedians thoroughly entertained the crowd and surprisingly, people had different takes on who they found funniest on the night – with all five comedians receiving almost equal kudos for tickling the audience’s fancies.

This year, LOL Events and The Comedy Club KL present five major comics, invariably some of the most hilarious talents to be found around Asia. The line-up is led by Canadian-Indian comedy superstar and all-around hottie Sugar Sammy; Paul Ogata, touted as the funniest Japanese-American you will ever know; Hong Kong’s Chinese and English-speaking funny man Vivek Mahbubani; and home-grown humour machine Harith Iskander, Malaysia’s proudest comedy export. The role of sole queen will be played by none other than the divalicious Joanne Kam, who will also act as the hostess for the shows.
If the line-up of comics is anything to go by, then the second Kings and Queen of Comedy Asia will definitely be something to look forward to. Be sure to book tickets in advance and save seats for yourself (and possibly a few dozen friends) and prepare to laugh your face off!
Tickets are priced at RM88, RM128, RM198 and RM298. American Express Cardmembers get 10% savings on ticket purchases. For more information, call TicketPro at +603-7880-7999 or visit www.ticketpro.com.my.
