History was made recently in Jakarta, Indonesia as a record number of Foursquare users checked in to “The Official Live & Rockin’ Venue” – at a concert sponsored by BlackBerry. This is the largest number of check-ins to a single venue that Foursquare has had to date in Indonesia. With over 15,000 fans at the venue, users were not only able to create history but to unlock the first dedicated Indonesian Foursquare badge. The Live & Rockin’ concert kick-started with 2PM taking over the stage with their spellbinding moves. After which the crowd were soon entertained by Shontelle. The lass from Barbados got the excitement up by giving the crowd a sneak peak of her upcoming single. As this was his first trip to Indonesia, Taio Cruz got everyone on their feet as he belted out chart-topping hits such as Dynamite. Superstars Suede completed the blockbuster concert with an explosive performance, ending the night on a high note. The concert which was held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Arena PRJ Kemayoran, was open to those who participated in the BlackBerry Trade-In-Program, or were lucky enough to have won an invite through one of the competitions. Fans were definitely not disappointed by the exhilarating experience that each chart topping artist gave. |
