With 23 Japanese styled rooms and suites, and 14 Japanese styled apartments, Gora Kadan is not a hotel, but instead, a traditional Japanese Onsen Ryokan – complete with hot spring baths and Kaiseki cuisine. CUISINE - KAISEKI KADAN
Using only the choicest, seasonal ingredients from all over Japan, Gora Kadan presents Kaiseki Kadan. Built in 1930, Kaiseki Kadan is in its original state, and is a landmark building, noted for its half timber design.

Kaiseki Kadan’s cuisine finds its origins in the customs of the traditional tea ceremony, in which the basic philosophy is that every single moment when people meet is a unique and one time only event that can never be repeated. Extreme care is taken to ensure that every dish served is both aesthetically and palate pleasing, and that the entire experience is one worth remembering.

NATURAL HOT SPRINGS & KADAN SPA
Gora Kadan has two wells from which mineral rich, hot spring water flows and feeds the open-air baths, or Onsen. The minerals contained in the spring water are regarded as having many positive qualities promoting general good health, and also, smooth, soft skin.

Kadan Spa is located within the Japanese garden and the tranquil atmosphere found there is soothing to both body and soul. Each treatment room offers a luxurious stage to enjoy the many oil massages offered. Highly recommended is having a massage from the wide selection offered at the Spa, preceded by a good, long soak in the Onsen baths to condition the skin.
