LALIQUE is globally renowned for their meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality as displayed in their magnificent crystal pieces.

Indeed, it takes years and the work from the finest craftsmen to master the process involved in crystal making. From the “hot glass” stage where Glass Masters gather, clean, shape, and reheat the molten crystal, through to the “cold glass” stage that includes adding final finishing touches and enamel onto the finished piece, LALIQUE shows their commitment to an age old tradition resulting in timeless masterpieces.

Even the tools used to create the crystal pieces are carefully scrutinized. LALIQUE is one of the last crystal brands that still use and handcraft pots by pure clay. These clay pots take roughly nine months before seasoned craftsmen can determine whether it can be used in the furnace that will hold the molten crystal. Moreover, they will only be used for 3 months before being discarded to ensure the quality of future pieces.
